Welcome to MHDA In the beginning ... What began as a couple of Executive Directors wanting to get together now and again to network and share ideas has evolved into a membership of 113 Housing Commissions strong. MHDA conferences are held three times a year at various locations around the State of Michigan. In an effort to maintain its original purpose, Roundtable Discussions are held the Wednesday evening of every conference and continue to be an integral part of the meetings. Who Do We Contact At HUD?That is always a good question to ask. In an effort to quicken response times, the Detroit Field Office has put together two useful tools for us. First, it depends on the topic of your question, comment or concern so you should check the PHA FO Contact Guidance Sheet. Then, if you are not sure who your Field Office Contact people are find your name on the PHA Assignment List. In the unfortunate event that you have difficulties with any of your Field Office representatives, please contact Detroit's PIH Director, Robert E. Nelson directly at 313-226-7900, ext. 8139 or via e-mail: robert.e.nelson@hud.gov. How Do We Speak HUD-eeze?
